Dia Daoibh! Hello from Dublin, Ireland!
In London, schools have term breaks every few weeks where teachers and students have a week off – with that being said, my boyfriend and I decided to go on a spontaneous trip to Dublin, Ireland after a few EXHAUSTING weeks of Supply Teaching.
We stayed at a lovely hotel named The Croke Park Hotel – I definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking at staying in Dublin for a few nights! Everything about it was spectacular and it was a very short walk to the centre of Dublin. We also rented a car (with Europcar) – this is VERY cheap, however, it was almost unnecessary… Dublin is very small and everything is very walk-able, therefore, there is no need for a car UNLESS you are planning on driving to Glasgow – something we planned on doing but didn’t have enough time.

In the few days that we were there, we visited the Centre of Dublin, Temple Bar, ate and drank at numerous pubs and restaurants – there are lots of beer and Irish music to go around! We also drove to Killiney Hill and enjoyed the beautiful views over there.
While it was a very expensive trip (in Euros), it was one of the most beautiful and most eventful cities I have ever seen! If you have the chance, definitely go visit Dublin, Ireland!
Ahhhh the luck of the Irish!
