What’s the key to great looking makeup? Great looking SKIN!
It is SO important to take care of your skin, especially if you want your make up to look good! Of course, there are other ways you can take care of your skin and a ton of products out there on the market, but these products are what I have been using on my skin and what has been working for me. All of these reviews and comments are my own!
This past Christmas, I decided to treat my skin by buying the First Aid Beauty Skincare gift set – unfortunately, it is no longer available, but you can still buy other sets or the products individually!
This past holiday season, First Aid Beauty assembled a well-rounded set that included 5 products:
2 oz Face Cleanser
6 oz Ultra Repair Cream
1.7 oz Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream
I can’t even explain how happy these products have made me! My skin is not too sensitive, but I have never seen it so clear and hydrated – thank you First Aid Beauty!
The First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser does a great job of taking off my makeup and leaves my face feeling very fresh and clean. There isn’t a strong scent which added to the gentle feel of the product. It also lathered up well so a little goes a long way!
The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is of a thicker consistency but it is a quick-absorbing moisturizer that provides immediate hydration, leaving your skin with a velvety soft finish.
The First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads is one of my favourite products in the set. My skin always feels and looks better after I use them and they could easily be used each day as part of your skin care routine without being too harsh.
With the winter fast approaching, I can feel my skin becoming dehydrated and feeling more “tight”. To combat this, I like to spritz the First Aid Beauty Vitamin Hydrating Mist either underneath my makeup or on top of my makeup – sometimes both! – to give my skin a little boost. The mist has a very simple scent to it, a little citrusy – a great wake me up!
The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-firm Sleeping Cream is exactly what it sounds like! It is also a thick consistency but absorbs very quickly into the skin leaving your skin silky smooth and hydrated all night long!
If you are looking for new skincare products, I would highly recommend the First Aid Beauty skincare line, especially if you live in a colder climate like I do! Keep your skin hydrated as much as possible to avoid congestion, redness and blotchy skin!
