I am sure we can all agree that we all need a relaxing weekend once in a while!
To do this, we must find free our minds and a weekend consisting of only relaxing activities might be a good way of accomplish that!
A relaxing weekend may sound crazy and unheard of for some of you, but after a busy week, it is the least you can do for yourself!
After a long, stressful week, having a stressful weekend will not be a good way of starting a new week!
Instead, TREAT YOURSELF AND HAVE A RELAXING WEEKEND!
5 WAYS WE CAN ALL RELAX THIS WEEKEND:
1. Watch something
Who doesn’t love to cuddle up and binge watch on some of our favourite TV shows or movies on Netflix? Most of us probably don’t have time do this during the week, so why not leave some time at the weekend and enjoy your shows? Grab some snacks and drinks and enjoy whatever you are watching! Just make sure you don’t spend the whole day/weekend watching something!
2. Go for a walk
This is my favourite thing to do because I have a dog and I love taking her for long walks! If you don’t have a dog, or if you have a full time job, studying, etc, having time for a long walk during the week might not be that easy. So why not use the weekends wisely and go for a walk? Do something good for your body and move! Walking will also help you clear your head and will give you some time to reflect.

Baking is one of the most relaxing activities – when you start preparing everything for baking, your stress level drops and you can actually enjoy what you are doing. The delicious smell of baked cake or cookies will also help increase your happiness level… who doesn’t love the smell of baked goods?!
I know not everyone likes to read, but it is really good for your brain and for yourself, so grab a book, a magazine, the newspaper, something and read! If you find something you like reading, then you won’t notice how fast time flies! Reading helps escape your everyday life and let’s you forget about all the things that might be troubling you at the moment. Take some time off your everyday life and drive into a new one!
We seem to have time for everything, but leaving some spare time for pampering ourselves might seem like too much at times. It is so important to take time to pamper ourselves and there are so many simple things we can do to make our minds and bodies happier! One of the easiest things you can do is to have a bath – use a relaxing bath bomb, or bath gel and make some bubbles, light some candles, grab a drink and play some relaxing music. Carry on with your skin and body routine and put on some comfy PJs afterwards – your body will love it!
